Claude connector
Connect Claude to your Native workspace to view your content calendar, browse your brand library and products, and draft, refine and schedule social posts in your brand voice, without leaving the conversation.
It is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for giving an assistant real tools instead of only text. You sign in with the Native account you already have. There is no API key to create and nothing to install.
What you need
A Native account
Any plan. Sign up at native.no if you do not have one yet.
At least one brand configured
A brand is what holds your voice, your image library and your products. Without one there is nothing for Claude to read.
Connected social channels, for scheduling only
Reading, drafting and generating work without them. Putting a post on the calendar needs a channel to publish to.
Connecting it
About a minute, once.
Open Connectors in Claude
Settings, then Connectors. Available in Claude on web and desktop.
Add Native
If Native is listed in the connector directory, pick it there. Otherwise choose Add custom connector, name it Native, and paste the address below.
Connector URL
https://mcp.native.no/mcp
Sign in and authorize
Claude sends you to Native to sign in. Approve the authorization screen. You are not asked for a client ID, a secret, a callback URL or an API key, and nothing is created in your name.
Check that it works
Ask Claude one of the prompts below. If it comes back with your own brands or your own calendar, you are connected.
Try it with these
No syntax to learn. Each of these exercises a different part of the connector.
- Show my Native content calendar for the next two weeks.Calendar
- What is the brand voice for [brand name]?Brand voice
- Draft a post for [brand] about [topic] and attach an image from my library.Drafting + library
- Schedule that draft for Tuesday at 09:00.Scheduling
- Which of my products have images I could use in a post?Products
Replace the bracketed parts with one of your own brands and something you want to post about. Ask Claude to list your brands first if you are not sure what they are called.
What it can and cannot do
It can
- Read your profile, the workspaces you belong to, and the brands you can reach in them.
- Read a brand voice: archetype, tone, brand context and voice fingerprint.
- Search and browse your brand image library, including image descriptions, labels and the names of any people tagged in them.
- List your products and the images attached to them.
- Show your publishing calendar and list your posts, with their status and preview.
- Create and edit drafts, and write captions in your brand voice.
- Generate images in your brand style and attach library or generated images to a post.
- Schedule a post, and take it back off the schedule.
- Render your calendar and post previews as interactive cards inside the conversation.
It cannot
- Recall or edit a post that has already gone out to your social channels.
- Reach a workspace or brand your own Native login cannot reach.
- Touch billing, subscriptions or team membership.
- Delete your Native account.
- Act on its own. Nothing happens unless you ask for it in the conversation, and Claude asks your approval before it runs a tool that changes anything.
What it accesses, and what we log
The connector reads only what your own Native login already reaches, and your access is checked on every request rather than once when you connect. Data is served from Native to your Claude session when you ask for it: the connector creates no new data stores and keeps no separate copy of your content.
We do not read or store the content of your Claude conversations. Native receives the individual tool requests Claude sends on your instruction, and answers them. Our operational log records the time, the name of the action, whether it succeeded and how long it took, with your identifiers stored as keyed hashes rather than in readable form.
Section 18 of our privacy policy covers the integration in full: what it accesses, how it is authorized, who data is shared with, and how long it is kept.
Disconnecting
Remove the connector in Claude, under Settings then Connectors. The authorization is withdrawn straight away, so no further access can be issued, and any access token Claude still holds stops working within the hour. Your Native account and everything in it stay exactly as they were.
