Your thumbnail, your subtitles

A video post can now take its thumbnail from your library or a frame of the video, and carry subtitles.

What's new

  • Pick a thumbnail in the post wizard or on the create page, from your computer, library or a frame. Bluesky, Threads and some others show a frame instead, and LinkedIn often does

  • "Add subtitles" takes your own SRT or WebVTT file per language, up to 1 MB

  • YouTube, Facebook (200 KB) and Bluesky (20 KB) take every language, X the first, LinkedIn the first in English, and the rest none

  • Subtitles need a single video, and a channel on the old connection has to reconnect first

  • In Designer, choose File, Download, MP4, and the video is made in your browser
