Messaging and communities

Discord is a room, not a feed.

Nobody is scrolling past you here. Your members are already inside, which is exactly why an announcement that reads like marketing lands badly.

This channel is not live yet. It is next on the roadmap, and everything below is what it will do.

What Native makes for Discord

1

Announcements that sound like you

Updates, release notes and news written the way you would say them in the channel, not the way a press release would.

2

Images that hold up inline

On brand visuals sized for the way Discord drops them into the middle of a conversation.

3

Clips that show the change

Short video for a launch or a fix, so members can see what is new instead of reading about it.

Getting it right on Discord

Announce less than you want to

Every post here interrupts someone, so keep the channel for things worth interrupting for.

Lead with what changed

Open with the change and what it means for members, then put the detail underneath.

Stay for the thread

A post in a chat is the start of a conversation, so be there when people answer it.

Questions about Discord

Not yet. Discord is on the roadmap and is not connected yet, so you cannot publish to a server from Native at the moment. Everything here describes what the channel does once it is live, and we would rather not name a date we cannot hold.

No. Native writes the posts, shows you a preview, and publishes the ones you approve. It does not build bots, moderate chat or manage roles. The server stays yours to run.

That is the mistake this channel punishes hardest. Native reads your website first and drafts in your own words, shows the post as it will appear, and publishes nothing you have not approved.

Replies land in your Native inbox next to every other channel, and Native can draft a response in your voice for you to send. In a server, the thread under a post matters more than the post.

A small server is usually the one where people read every word. If you make a game, software or anything with power users, your most invested customers are already in there, and Native ties what you publish back to customers and revenue.

How it works

01

Add your website

One link is all Native needs to learn your brand.

02

Approve what you like

Native drafts the posts. You keep the ones that fit.

03

It publishes for you

Scheduled at the right time, every week, without you.

Every other channel

Native runs them all from one place.
