The team
Benjamin Bekken
CEO & Co-founder
Has been making things for the internet since high school.
Benjamin started playing Minecraft in 2009 and built his own server for it in Java. He wanted people to play with him, so he made his first YouTube video. It went viral and crashed the family internet, and his parents were furious. He kept at it, got good, and earned thousands of dollars making Minecraft videos.
Later, while studying media science at NTNU, Norway’s technical university, he made videos for businesses at an agency. He saw businesses pay agencies for the tedious day-to-day work, stories and carousels, while the agencies would rather make the creative things, like documentaries and landing pages. The tedious part, he thought, could be automated, and his master’s thesis found that marketers cannot reliably tell high-quality AI content from human work.
He took the idea, content creation on a subscription, to NTNU’s School of Entrepreneurship, where he met Håkon and Trond. Together they started Wepost, and in January 2026 they wound it down and started Native. He still codes every day, mostly frontend and product, with Claude Code always open.
“Every business in the world deserves a marketing team.”
